Ferdinand of Naples married Isabella of Taranto. They had Duchess Leonora of Ferrara who married Duke Ercole d'Este. They had Isabella, Beatrice, Alfonso, Ippolitti, Ferrante, Sigismondo. Isabella married Francesco Gonzaga they had Elenor, Margherita, Frederico, Livia (she died as a baby), Ippolita, Ercole, Ferrante, and Livia

Isabella's Life

Isabella was born on May 18 1474 to Ercole d'Este and Lenora of Naples in Ferrara Italy. She was the oldest of 6 with 4 brothers and 1 sister. she was generally the favorite. As a child she studied Roman histoy, could translate Greek and Latin (though Greek was her favourite), could play the lute and meet many of the Renaissance writers and painters (including Leonardo Da Vinci). When she was six she was betrothed to Francesco Gonzaga. They were married 10 years later. They had 8 kids, Eleonor, Margherita, Frederico, Livia (she died as a child), Ippolita, Ercole, Ferrante, and Livia (named after her sister). She died at the age 64 on February 13, 1539 in Mantua Italy.
